Hello.
Welcome to Knitworking... my name is Sarah and I'm an avid knitting and crochet fan. I've been making things with yarn since I was 8 years old and have returned to it again and realised the benefit and enjoyment it brings as an antidote to our busy and often demanding schedules.
My Story.
I re-discovered knitting and crocheting after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 and realised how beneficial it was during a difficult time. I found doing something creative was tactile, mindful and fulfilling. I enjoyed not having to concentrate on a plot in a film or a book. Choosing colours was simple and easy, I could just knit and not think, it was almost meditative.
I've been fortunate enough that I had space to create a dedicated creative workshop at my home just outside Chippenham and would now love to share this joy with others.
