Welcome to Knitworking. My name is Sarah and I'm an avid knitting and crochet fan.
I've been making things with yarn since I was 8 years old and have returned to it again and realised the benefit and enjoyment it brings as an antidote to our busy and often demanding schedules.
I re-discovered knitting and crocheting after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 and realised how beneficial it was during a difficult time. I found doing something creative was tactile, mindful and fulfilling. I enjoyed not having to concentrate on a plot in a film or a book. Choosing colours was simple and easy, I could just knit and not think, it was almost meditative.
I've been fortunate enough that I had space to create a dedicated creative workshop at my home just outside Chippenham and would now love to share this joy with others.

Join me in my converted workshop just outside Chippenham to learn the basics of knitting or crochet and create lovely items for your home or to give as gifts
During a 3 hour workshop, there will be time to choose your favourite yarn colours, learn the basic stitches, knit/crochet and chat. Come alone, or bring a friend to join likeminded people in an informal setting.
For me the process of knitting creates a calm and relaxed feeling that I look forward to sharing with you all.
